“Shell Helix” Peugeot 206 WRC Neste Rally Finland 2002



The above model has been produced for a model shop in Finland to celebrate Timo Salonen’s 50th Birthday, and entry into the 2002 Neste Rally Finland. It is limited to 600 pieces only, of which the first 60 are signed by the driver and navigator. Prices are 40 Euro’s for the Unsigned and 50 Euro’s for the signed ones. Promotional Models by Vitesse and Trofeu Vitesse and Trofeu have produced many Promotional models over the years for various companies. The tables on this page and associated picture links aim to chart all known Code 1 rally variants. These models do not generally appear in any catalogues. Most were produced in special packaging in often very limited numbers. If I have missed any out, please e-mail me, and tell me where to get one from !! Promotional models are generally classified in three groups:

Code 1- Limited Edition produced/refinished by the manufacturer (i.e Vitesse or Trofeu).
Code 2 - Limited Edition produced/refinished by a second manufacturer with Vitesse or Trofeu's authority.
Code 3 - As above, but without Vitesse or Trofeu's authority.

Trofeu Promotional models Toyota / Subaru / Ford

All of the models produced by Trofeu as Promotional items are generally coded according to the company who has commissioned that model, for example MP108 Subaru Impreza was commissioned by the company, Minipartes of Portugal. Most have a minimum run of 250 models of each, the Marlboro Toyota Celica's for example are 250 of each different rally version. Many of the Trofeu Sierra RS Cosworth PROMO's appear on the Sierra page and not this one. Unless stated below, the following are all Code 1 Promotional versions. Nuremberg Toy Fair Specials

The Premier Toy, Models and hobbies toyfair for the trade is held every year at Nurenberg in Germany. All the major manufacturers exhibit their releases for the forthcoming year to trade buyers from all over the world. Every year both Trofeu and Vitesse give away a special model to certain trade customers visiting their stand. These are the rarest of all issues, usually they come on a special plinth, and each model is numbered limited edition, of no more than 120. Click on the link for a photo.These are like gold dust !
